Very happy to share a few more moments from this incredible elopement in Seward, Alaska last summer! M + B rented the cutest cottage on Resurrection Bay with their family and close friends. It had epic views of the mountains, sweet solitude, and that rustic Alaskan vibe.✨

We captured getting ready photos at the cottage, went on the sailboat adventure with a beach landing for their ceremony, and finished the day with a bonfire and dancing at the cottage with their crew.🔥

I’m soooo excited to share few moments from this amazing micro wedding in Seward, Alaska last summer! It was such a fun, chill day with an incredible group of people. We enjoyed a sailboat tour with @happypuffintours around Resurrection Bay with their family, a private vow exchange, the sweetest beach ceremony with their whole crew of friends, and finished the day at their beach cottage dancing to music and savoring the epic views. There are sooo many wonderful moments to share, so stay tuned for more of this adventure elopement in Alaska soon!🏔️

When you elope in the Pacific Northwest on the Ore

We live in a world that pressures us to move quick

We live in a world that pressures us to move quickly. Be vulnerable faster. Be expressive now. Perform your love. But real intimacy doesn’t work like that. It unfolds when there is presence, patience, and permission to move at your own pace.✨

This is how I approach photographing elopements and intimate weddings. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced. I don’t ask couples to “perform love.” I create space for it to arrive naturally. The most honest images don’t come from direction — they come from trust.❤️

Abi and Geron’s elopement in Oregon is a perfect example of this. We faced road closures which required us to change plans last minute and I honestly believe everything turned out better. Why? Because these two went with the flow💫, let go of expectations, and truly lived in the moment “together.” What a beautiful testament to marriage. There will always be ups and downs, and it’s how you move through the challenges that matter. Thank you for trusting me to help you create the elopement of your dreams A + G. It was truly an honor to be a part of it! 🥰

Abi and Geron got hitched last summer in the mount

Abi and Geron got hitched last summer in the mountains of Oregon. 🏔️They started the day with a private sunrise adventure before gathering with friends for an intimate ceremony at their Airbnb on the beautiful McKenzie River. We went on a short hike along the river where they said private wedding vows, shed a few tears, laughter, and we even saw a group of trail runners who cheered them along. 🏃‍♂️ It was one of those special moments in the Cascade mountains of Oregon. Lush green forest, gushing waterfalls, ancient lava flows, and sunny skies set the scene for a day that felt timeless, intimate, and deeply connected to the land. 🌲☀️🌾

After their private adventure we headed back to the Airbnb for the ceremony and a lovely breakfast prepared by their friends. Stay tuned for that portion of the elopement day tomorrow!✨
